Text to speech voices for MP3 downloads
Choose from 23 Standard voices and 16 HD voices, each with a short preview clip. Every Standard voice speaks all 7 of its languages, so one voice can read your English script and its French version.
Three voice tools in one browser tab
Turn text into a downloadable MP3 in a preset voice, clone a voice from a 5–15 second recording, or transcribe audio and video to TXT and SRT subtitles. Use all three tools in your browser with nothing to install; the audio is generated in the cloud, not on your device.

Pick a tool below. Text to Speech reads your text in a preset voice: Standard covers 7 languages at 1 credit per 200 characters, HD covers 29 languages at 3 credits per 100 characters. Voice Clone speaks your text in the voice from a short sample you upload or record. Speech to Text turns an audio or video file into a transcript you can copy or save as TXT or SRT. The cost shows before you start, and results stay in your recent history for 30 days, or 6 months once you’ve made a purchase.

Every voice has a short preview clip, so you can hear it before you generate anything. Standard voices run on our own servers and each one speaks 7 languages. HD voices come from a commercial cloud voice model and read 29 languages.
23 voices, and each one speaks English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Dutch: choose the language from the dropdown. 1 credit per 200 characters, up to 3,000 characters per request.
16 premium voices. The language is detected from your text across 29 languages, including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi and Arabic, and you can set the speed from 0.7× to 1.2×. 3 credits per 100 characters, up to 5,000 characters per request.
Standard voices: VCTK, Alba MacKenna, CML-TTS (CC-BY-4.0), Kyutai voice donations, Voice-Zero, Common Voice (CC0)
Text to Speech, Voice Clone and Speech to Text share one credit balance. New accounts get 20 free credits, valid for 365 days, to use across all three tools. Here’s what each part does, its limits and what it costs.
Choose from 23 Standard voices and 16 HD voices, each with a short preview clip. Every Standard voice speaks all 7 of its languages, so one voice can read your English script and its French version.
Upload or record 5–15 seconds of one person speaking, type up to 1,000 characters, and get an MP3 in that voice. The clone is made fresh from your sample on each request. It picks up the tone and character of the voice; it won’t be identical to the original speaker.
Upload audio or video up to 30 MB and 15 minutes. Copy the transcript, or download it as TXT or as an SRT subtitle file with timestamps. 1 credit per minute of audio, rounded up.
Standard voices speak 7 languages. HD voices read 29, detected from your text. Voice Clone works in 21, including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hebrew and Persian. Transcription recognizes about 99.
The HD tier offers 16 premium voices from a commercial cloud voice model, automatic language detection and speed control from 0.7× to 1.2×. It costs 3 credits per 100 characters and takes up to 5,000 characters per request.
Standard speech, Voice Clone and transcription run on our own servers with open-source models, and your voice sample is not sent to any third-party AI company. Only HD text goes to an outside voice provider. We don’t train models on your uploads or text, and no watermark is added to any audio.
| Tool | Limit per request | Output | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Text to Speech, Standard | 3,000 characters | MP3 | 1 credit per 200 characters |
| Text to Speech, HD | 5,000 characters | MP3 | 3 credits per 100 characters |
| Voice Clone | 1,000 characters; 5–15 second sample recommended | MP3 | 1 credit per 200 characters |
| Speech to Text | 30 MB and 15 minutes per file | Text, TXT, SRT | 1 credit per minute, rounded up |
The same three steps for every tool.
Choose Text to Speech, Voice Clone or Speech to Text at the top of the studio. One credit balance covers all three.
Paste your text and pick a voice; or upload or record a voice sample, tick the consent box and type what it should say; or upload an audio or video file to transcribe. The credit cost shows before you start.
Play the MP3 in the page and download it, or copy the transcript and save it as TXT or SRT. Results stay in your account history for 30 days, or 6 months once you’ve made a purchase, so download anything you want to keep. Failed jobs return their credits automatically.
Text to speech, voice cloning and transcription fit into a lot of everyday work. A few common ones:
Write the narration for a tutorial or product demo, generate it in a preset voice or your own cloned voice, and drop the MP3 into your editor. Then transcribe the finished video to get SRT subtitles with timestamps.
Turn articles, stories or study notes into audio you can listen to away from the screen. Split long text into parts of up to 3,000 characters for Standard or 5,000 for HD, and download each part as an MP3.
Make one consistent intro and outro and reuse them every episode, in a preset voice or your own. Transcribe a recording of up to 15 minutes to pull quotes for show notes.
Hear sentences read aloud in French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese or Dutch with Standard voices, or in Japanese, Korean, Hindi and more with HD. Record yourself and transcribe it to check what you actually said.
Draft voiceovers for short videos, reels and promos, try several voices, and keep the take you like. The audio has no watermark and can be used in paid campaigns and client work.
Listen to emails, articles or documents instead of reading them on screen, and turn short lectures, voice memos or calls into text you can search and copy.
One credit balance covers all three tools. Plans add credits every month, billed monthly or yearly (yearly saves 30%); each month’s credits are valid until the end of that billing month and don’t roll over. Credits from one-time packs never expire. New accounts get 20 free credits, valid for 365 days. Cancel a plan anytime in Settings → Billing and you won’t be charged again.
Basic
For a few voiceovers or transcripts a month.
Pro

AI Voice Studio is a website with three voice tools on one page: Text to Speech, Voice Clone and Speech to Text. You can type text and get an MP3 in one of 23 Standard or 16 HD preset voices, have the text spoken in a voice cloned from a short recording, or upload audio or video and get a transcript with SRT subtitles. You use it in your browser while the audio is generated in the cloud, you sign in with Google, and all three tools use the same credit balance.
You can start for free: signing in with Google for the first time gives you 20 credits, valid for 365 days. That’s enough for 4,000 characters of Standard speech or voice cloning, about 660 characters of HD speech, or 20 minutes of transcription. Daily check-ins add more: 2, 2, 4, 2, 2, 2 and 6 credits over a 7-day streak, 20 in total, and those credits last 30 days. Missing a day restarts the streak at day 1. For more, there are monthly plans, whose credits are valid until the end of each billing month, and one-time credit packs, whose credits never expire.
Open the Voice Clone tab, upload or record a sample, tick the consent box, type your text and press Generate. The sample needs at least 3 seconds of speech and only the first 20 seconds are used; 5–15 seconds of one person talking in a quiet room works best. Files can be MP3, WAV, M4A, WebM or OGG, up to 10 MB. Each request takes up to 1,000 characters and costs 1 credit per 200 characters. Only clone your own voice or a voice you have permission to use. Our voice cloning guide walks through each step.
Voice Clone works in 21 languages: Chinese, English, German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Italian, Hungarian, Korean, Russian, Persian, Arabic, Polish, Portuguese, Dutch, Czech, Danish, Swedish, Greek, Turkish and Hebrew. Pick the language your text is written in from the dropdown. If your sample is in a different language from your text, run a short test first, since results vary. Hindi and other languages outside this list can’t be cloned, but the HD preset voices read 29 languages, Hindi included.
Standard costs less and HD covers more languages. Standard has 23 voices that each speak English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Dutch; it costs 1 credit per 200 characters, takes up to 3,000 characters per request and runs on our own servers on an open-source model. HD has 16 premium voices from a commercial cloud voice model, detects the language of your text across 29 languages, lets you set the speed from 0.7× to 1.2×, and costs 3 credits per 100 characters with up to 5,000 characters per request. A 1,000-character script costs 5 credits in Standard and 30 in HD. HD text is sent to a third-party voice provider to generate. Play the previews to compare.
Yes. Upload an MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4, MOV, WebM, OGG or FLAC file up to 30 MB and 15 minutes long, and Speech to Text returns the full transcript. The language is detected automatically, or you can set it yourself; about 99 languages are supported. Copy the text, or download it as a TXT file or as SRT subtitles with timestamps for your video editor. It costs 1 credit per minute of audio, rounded up, so a 15-minute file costs 15 credits.
Your voice sample is processed on our own servers and is not sent to any third-party AI company, and we don’t use your uploads or your text to train models. Voice Clone, Standard speech and transcription all run on our servers with open-source models. The one exception is HD speech: the text you type is sent to a third-party voice provider to generate the audio. Your uploads and results are kept in cloud storage for your account for 30 days, then deleted automatically; after you’ve made a purchase, new uploads and results are kept for 6 months. Download anything you want to keep, and email [email protected] if you’d like your files deleted sooner.
Yes. You can use audio made with Standard voices, HD voices and Voice Clone commercially, for example in monetized YouTube or TikTok videos, ads, client work, paid courses and podcasts. No watermark is added to any audio. With Voice Clone the usual rule still applies: only clone your own voice or a voice whose owner has agreed.
Yes. If you’re not happy with a purchase, email [email protected] and we’ll refund the payment to your original card or payment method, as money rather than credits. Separately, if a generation or transcription fails, the credits it used go back to your balance automatically. You can also cancel a plan anytime in Settings → Billing: you won’t be charged again, the plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and credits already added can be used until they expire.
No. AI Voice Studio runs in your web browser, so there’s nothing to download and you don’t need a graphics card: all generation happens on our servers. Sign in with your Google account and the studio is ready, and you can record a voice sample straight from the browser with your microphone. There’s no desktop or mobile app to install.
Sign in with Google and try Text to Speech, Voice Clone and Speech to Text. 20 credits cover 4,000 characters of Standard speech or 20 minutes of transcription.
